TEACHING
PHILOSOPHY In
the pursuit of learning, everyday something is acquired. In the pursuit of the
Way, everyday something is dropped.

TEACHING PHILOSOPHY My
objective is to help my students to open their bodies and let the asanas (poses)
flower from the inside, rather than impose or force them from the outside. My
instruction is challenging, yet not straining, with the focus on the breath and
the way the asanas feel on an innate, sustained, and personal level. The atmosphere
in each class is one of flow and deep release. I encourage students to use their
own inner resources, such as their breathing and internal awareness to make each
class fully enjoyable for themselves.
Students have noticed
and reported back with the following effects after taking my yoga classes:
- a great night's sleep
- increased
concentration
- heightened joy and appreciation
of life
- better posture
- more
comfortable back
- easier pregnancy, labor and
delivery
- less aches and pains
- deeper
sense of self acceptance
